Frequently asked questions : Labyrinth
What benefits does the labyrinth bring to the dog during an agility session?
The maze simultaneously stimulates the dog's cognitive and motor skills: he has to memorize the path, manage his movements in a constrained space and remain attentive to his master's instructions. This exercise improves concentration, balance and the human-animal bond.
From what age and for what size of dog is this equipment suitable?
The labyrinth is designed for adult or late-growth dogs, from around 12 months, to preserve developing joints. It is suitable for a wide range of sizes, from small to large dogs, thanks to its generous dimensions between the walls.
What are the dimensions of the equipment and the required footprint?
Precise dimensions are available on the data sheet supplied with the product and can be provided on request by our sales team. A clearance zone around the equipment is recommended to allow dogs to enter and leave the maze in complete safety.
What type of flooring is suitable for the Labyrinth - Dog Agility Course?
The equipment can be installed on lawns, stabilized ground, concrete or asphalt, according to the anchoring recommendations supplied. For dog parks, grass or wood shavings are recommended to cushion any falls and keep the animals comfortable.
Does the equipment comply with specific safety standards?
Herkules Fitness designs its equipment in compliance with current European standards for playgrounds and outdoor sports equipment. The materials used are free from harmful substances, and each product undergoes rigorous quality controls before delivery.
What maintenance is required to keep the equipment in good condition over time?
Low-maintenance thanks to anti-corrosion treatment and epoxy polyester paint. Regular cleaning with clear water is all that's needed to remove dirt. An annual visual inspection of fasteners and surfaces is recommended to detect any signs of premature wear.
