Plan station rotations
Define the exercises, the expected number of simultaneous users at each station and the transitions between them. This information helps create a more useful layout than simply adding equipment.
Herkules Fitness equips clubs, associations and gyms for outdoor training. Street workout stations and strength equipment complement your pitches and indoor facilities, with a layout designed around your coaches’ sessions.

Take your training outdoorsIllustration of use

Pull-ups, supports, suspensions or core training: the equipment opens up possibilities for general strength and conditioning. The coaches select the exercises according to their discipline and the levels of the members. The outdoor space complements the technical sessions already organized on the field or indoors.
A training circuit is planned around group size, station rotations and the coach’s view of participants. Several stations can spread the group out, provided the required use zones are respected. We design the layout to reduce crossing routes and waiting between exercises.
The choice of heights, supports and types of apparatus determines the exercise possibilities. A club that welcomes varied profiles must provide several levels of approach. The ages and conditions of use of each piece of equipment are checked before selection, particularly for groups of young people.
A sports facility also needs long-term planning: ground conditions, fixings, checks and spare parts availability. Technical sheets describe the equipment. Together we define the project, installation arrangements and ongoing support to suit your site and operations.
In Auterive, California Gym added a Herkules street workout space to complement its indoor gym. This project shows how an outdoor area can broaden the activities available to members. The photos show the equipment and its use at this site.

Outdoor training
The value of a strength and conditioning space depends on the sessions your coaches can run there. Start with real training: group size, rotations, additional equipment and how it fits with the main workout. The plan needs to support these activities while keeping the layout clear.
A well-designed circuit lets the coach observe the group, adapt exercises and manage station rotations.
Define the exercises, the expected number of simultaneous users at each station and the transitions between them. This information helps create a more useful layout than simply adding equipment.
The supports and holds available determine the variations that coaches will be able to offer. The selection is discussed with them, depending on the levels and conditions of supervision of the club.
This selection favors work with body weight and a variety of supports. Depending on your discipline, it can be supplemented by other strengthening positions. The coach defines the exercises and progressions; the installation complies with the instructions for each piece of equipment.

| Your organisation | Possible activities | Points to clarify during planning |
|---|---|---|
| Team sports club | General strength and conditioning in groups | Station rotations, group sizes and proximity to the main pitch |
| Athletics or running club | Strength and coordination exercises | How the space complements the track and choice of supports |
| Gym or fitness association | Street workout and outdoor functional sessions | Members’ ability levels, open access or supervised sessions |

We discuss with managers and coaches about the disciplines, the numbers and the desired equipment. The constraints of the site, the youth groups and the supervision conditions are specified. This first step allows us to build a selection adapted to the reality of the club.

The layout shows stations, circulation and safety zones. 3D visuals help discuss rotations and integration with existing pitches. Equipment and positions are adjusted before the offer is finalised.

We organize the installation arrangements with those responsible for the field. The ground, anchors and site access are defined according to the equipment selected. The calendar takes into account the club's slots and the necessary interventions on the site.

The technical documents help you plan maintenance and inspections. Coaches then organise sessions for their discipline. Our team remains available for equipment support, spare parts and future expansion projects.
A documented project
Auterive (31) · Gym

California Gym offers members an outdoor street workout space alongside its indoor gym. The project allows them to vary training locations and hold bodyweight sessions.
The project description includes pull-up bars, dip stations, horizontal ladders and supports for core exercises. This equipment suits a range of exercises and circuits. Coaches and participants choose how to structure their sessions.
An outdoor area complements the club’s facilities with equipment for strength, core stability and coordination. It allows exercises to take place near the main training area. Its value depends on the equipment selected and how coaches integrate it into their sessions.
Pull-up bars, parallel bars, rings and work benches can make up a strength and conditioning space. The choice varies according to the discipline, levels and numbers. The trainers define the desired movements before selecting the equipment and its implementation.
These disciplines can include general strength and conditioning exercises on outdoor equipment. The content of the sessions remains specific to each club. Coaches choose exercises, progressions and practice times according to the sporting objectives and the level of their groups.
Age, height and usage requirements vary by equipment. An adult station is not automatically suitable for children. Tell us which age groups you welcome when planning the project, so we can check suitable equipment and conditions of use with your coaches.
Size the circuit around group numbers and the permitted number of users at each station. Include rotations, transitions and the coach’s line of sight in the plan. Safety zones must remain clear even when several groups are exercising at once.
The surface area depends on the station, its safety zones and neighboring uses. The plan must also provide for group movement and access for supervisors. The dimensions of the device alone are not sufficient to determine the footprint necessary for its installation.
The choice of ground depends on the height of fall, the manufacturer's instructions and the characteristics of the terrain. The study specifies the surfacing and preparation necessary for the selected devices. Drainage and maintenance must also be taken into account for regular outdoor use.
The budget includes equipment, delivery, fixings, flooring and any work. Group size and the variety of exercise stations influence the selection. A detailed estimate allows you to compare several compositions or to prepare a project in several stages.
Expansion is possible if the initial layout leaves enough space and if the land allows it. Indicate your future needs during the study: safety zones and circulation must remain consistent after each addition. The extension is subject to a new verification of the plan.
The site manager organises inspections and upkeep using the manufacturer’s instructions and maintenance plan. Defects are reported so they can be addressed. Herkules provides technical support and after-sales service; coaches remain responsible for organising sporting activities.
